Northwest Hills Christian School will follow NISD closure procedures. For updates on possible closure of school, please watch the local news, visit NWHCS website (Emergency Plans and School Info pages) or call the school at 210-522-1102 and there will be a recording on the answering machine.

Fire Drills

Fire Drills are conducted monthly.

Severe Weather Drills

Severe Weather Drills are conducted several times a year. Students are moved to inner rooms without windows.

In any emergency, the school will contact parents as needed. Parents are encouraged to check the website and wait patiently for contact from the school. We ask parents not to call the school during a “Lock-Down,” “Fire Drill” or “Severe Weather Drill.”This will enable us to communicate with any local authorities by phone if needed. Thanks for your understanding. It is our goal to create the safest environment for our students.
